Hello and welcome,
My name is Molly, but you can call me Mol. I’ve always made sense of the world (and my place in it) through words — typed in phone notes, scribbled in morning pages, hand-written in greeting cards, and screamed into karaoke microphones.
Now, I share my words here, too. Spag Mol is my means of documenting the tangle of my spaghetti brain (see above). It’s also an ongoing experiment in savouring life in all its delicious, complicated, shirt-staining messiness. In either case, the hypothesis remains the same: that if I make space for more words in my life, perhaps I can experience more of it — that is, life.
A taste of what to expect
I think (and therefore write) a lot about personal growth in its many guises; as well as time, relationships, change, and the human tendency to seek out joy.
I strongly believe in universal timing, going with the gut-feel, and that tea improves almost any situation.
I find joy in sharing long, comfortable silences, receiving “this made me think of you” messages, and eating heaping, steaming bowls of spaghetti. 🍝
